Target Audience

1) Where do you study? - Lincoln University Advert

The target audience for this commercial is young adults and well as teenagers who are considering to going to University. This advertisement appeals to that demographic because they're most likely going to know about zombies, that's why they related the advertisement to this demographic. Although the advertisement is set out to be a joke, it has enthusiased some people to go there. For example, one comments reads, "You have just made my little cousin want to go study at that University. He now thinks the University would be an exciting place... Great post!"

2) Good Call. Fosters Advert

The audience demographic for this commercial are people all around the world that are drinkers, so preferably in their 18s - 40s. I believe this advert appeals to everyone in the world because, although Fosters are an Australian beverage, people from the UK (South End, in this video) are calling them therefore giving it the impression that Fosters are a worldwide beverage. It may also appeal because of the message in the Foster's Ads. The message that if you drink Fosters you'll resolve all, if not most, of your problems and think of life or things on a different perspective.

3) Weetabix Chocolate Spoonsized Advert

Judging by the name of the advert, "Weetabix Spoonsized", it is aimed at children ages 5 - 15. Although adults eat Weetabix as well, this advert is generally aimed at children. This is because the protagonist in this advert is a young girl, approximately 10 years old and she's eating Weetabix and break-dancing with teddy-bears. Children like teddy-bears and they also like dancing and music, therefore it's aimed at them. Seeing as the advertisers hired a child to be the protagonist, it will more-likely influence a child (seeing as they are in the approximate age group).
